Inspection Services

BG Pool Inspections is family owned and operated by a pool and spa industry professional with over 25 years experience. We believe that a proper visual inspection can only be performed by a trained, certified, and knowledgeable professional.

Residential Pool Inspections
“If you are buying a house that includes a swimming pool, plan to have the pool inspected separately by a pool specialist, not by your home inspector.” Bob Vila 2005.

Just as a home inspection informs you about the condition of the home you are interested in purchasing, a pool inspection informs you about the condition of the pool. Some buyers assume the home inspection covers the pool, but that is rarely the case. Even if they offer pool inspections, many home inspectors do not have the required expertise to evaluate a pool, and typically include a disclaimer regarding the pool. With that in mind, why would anyone not want to have the pool, often the centerpiece of a well designed backyard, thoroughly inspected by a pool professional? A proper inspection can save you thousands of dollars and bring up important issues that are unnoticeable to the untrained eye.

BG Pool Inspections include written reports along with photos of any areas of concern found during the visual inspection. The current condition of all accessible components of the pool, it's equipment, and surrounding environment are evaluated. A detailed report with photos on the current condition of your pool will be prepared and emailed to you.

Inspections can be scheduled all year round, seven days a week. If your inspection is scheduled during warm weather, the current owner should have the pool open and operational. If your inspection is scheduled after the pool has been closed for the season or if the pool was not opened, please make arrangements with the current owner to pump off standing water and remove debris from the pool cover. A separate charge will apply to open the pool before the inspection and to winterize and re-cover the pool after the inspection.

Spa Inspections

Have a factory trained spa technician examine a spa that you will inherit as part of your new home purchase. We inspect any make and model and provide detailed report with photos on the current condition of your spa that
will be emailed to you.
